Down here they're passionate about eating so along with a guide couples will visit up to six locations: classic Creole restaurants neighborhood sandwich shops hot sauce bars artisanal candy stores and more. Once inside couples will sample different foods that represent the breadth and diversity of the culinary heritage: dishes like gumbo Creole brisket muffulettas poboys pralines and much more.
This tour includes a visit to New Orleans' various restaurant family dynasties and restaurants that pre-date the American Civil War. Couples will get the opportunity to discuss recipes old and new and a guide will recommend places to eat and places to shop. With so many dining options in New Orleans why not try six different places in one fell swoop?!
The three-hour walking tour is conducted at a leisurely pace and with small groups. Most of the restaurant stops feature fully stocked bars if couples would like to enjoy a cold beverage (adult or otherwise!) during the tour.
